We often think of witnessing as a moment of confrontation to convince someone that God exists, but there is another way. Witnessing should be stepping into a God ordained moment with people whose hearts God has softened. It’s not a confrontation, but a divine appointment just as with Jesus and Zacchaeus (Luke 19) or as with Philip and the Ethiopian (Acts 8). God is calling us to keep our eyes and ears open for those people in our lives who are ripe for the Gospel longing for someone to tell them about Jesus Christ.
