Same sex marriage. Transgender celebrities. LGBT rights. As Bob Dylan once sang: “The times, they are a-changin’.” As followers of Jesus Christ, we know that our identity is more than a matter of gender and that we are called to be people of radical love. At the same time, there seems to be so much in the Bible that lays down firm guidelines for the practice of human sexuality. How do we hold fast to the people we do or are called to love AND to the teaching of the Bible? How do we manage our own sexuality? What does it mean to be a truly redemptive community amidst all the complexity of life today? That’s the focus of this series on THE THIRD WAY.
