The Table. In every culture and context–at home or at work, in politics or economics, in social circles and religious tradition–there is always “The Table.” We want a seat at it. We value the people who set it. We may miss the people who serve at it. We have manners and customs around it. The Table matters. It’s the place where crucial conversations happen. It’s the place where significant values and important relationships are broken or deepened. And, not surprisingly, it is also the place where Jesus did some of his greatest work and teaching. This Lenten season, you are cordially invited to join us At the Table where you’ll discover a more beautiful way and hope by which all of us can live.
